Creating a New Campaign

 

Click on “New Campaign” from your Campaign Overview.

 

When setting up advertising in Admarket, you can choose between two booking options.

The Simple Booking provides ready-made ad packages optimized for maximum performance, while the Flexible Booking is ideal if you want more freedom to tailor your advertising based on your own needs.

 
 

1. Simple Booking

If you choose the simple booking option, you’ll go through the following steps:

 

  • Targeting:

    Here you can add targeting options such as geography, desired audience size, and if you like, interests, gender, and age.

  • Budget & Period:

    Choose your campaign period and select from predefined packages based on desired reach. Alternatively, you can manually set your budget and number of impressions.

 

Next, you’ll be prompted to upload your ad creatives directly within the booking process.

Click on “Go to Creative Management” and follow the instructions.

Your campaign will not go live without creatives, and you must upload them at least 3 days before the campaign start date.

 
 

2. Flexible Booking

Start by naming your campaign. Choose a name that will make it easy to identify later — it's common to include elements like website, device, targeting, and period.

 

You’ll then get access to a wider range of options for your campaign and can start at any point in the booking flow.

Unavailable options will be automatically removed based on your choices — for example, if you select the Board ad format (which is mobile-only), desktop will no longer appear as a selectable option.

 

Here’s a breakdown of the steps in the booking tool:

 
 

Product

 

Under Product (1), you can choose where your campaign will appear:

 

  • Across all Schibsted websites, or


  • On a specific site, such as VG or Aftenposten.

    You can also add a category, like homepage or economy.



  •  

Then select your ad format, and optionally choose a specific device, like mobile.

Targeting

 

Adding Targeting (2) to your campaign is optional.

You can target by geography, interests, gender, age, frequency, and additional criteria like keywords.

Note that adding targeting will result in a price increase.

Details

 

You can then set the campaign period, budget, and delivery type (delivery options depend on the product and may be locked for certain selections).

Placing Your Campaign Order

 

Once all selections have been made and reviewed, place your order by clicking “Order Campaign.”

 

After your campaign is booked, it will appear in your Campaign Overview.

You will upload your creatives afterward from the same overview – see [here] for instructions.

 
 

Your campaign will not go live without ad creatives. You must upload them at least 3 days before your campaign is scheduled to start.
